Biografi
Art Nation was formed by Alexander Strandell in 2014. They were quickly signed by AOR Heaven and released their debut album ”Revolution” in August 2015.
The album received great reviews and the band was nominated in Gaffa magazine as “Breaktrought of the year 2015”, Powerplay Magazine nominated "Revolution" as one of the best albums of 2015 and Classic Rock Magazine gave it 8/10.
In early 2016 Art Nation signed a world wide deal with Sony Music/Gain and started working on their second album.
In July 2016, Art Nation performed “We are better together”, a song written specifically for the Gothia Cup opening ceremony, at Swedens biggest venue, Ullevi Arena, in front of an audience of 60.000.
At the end of 2016, Gaffa Magazine nominated Art Nation as "Best live act of the year".
In January 2017 Art Nation performed "We are better together" at one of Europes biggest charity event, "We are one". The event was held at the Swedish national arena, Friends arena.
The second album, “Liberation” was released in April 2017 and received even better reviews than the previous album. Among those - 94/100 in Burrn Magazine and 9/10 in Classic Rock Magazine.
In the summer of 2017 Art Nation nearly filled the space in front of the 4 sound stage at "Sweden Rock Festival", headlined "Hojrock" and later initiated "Tall ship races" with Europe and D-A-D. To top of the summer they will once again play "We are better together" on the opening ceremony to Gothia Cup at Ullevi arena, in front of an audience of 60.000.In late 2017 Art Nation will tour Sweden, Spain, Italy, Germany and are also scheduled for an exclusive show in Tokyo.
