WELCOME TO GOTHENBURG AND THE BIGGEST SKATEBOARD EVENT OF THE YEAR!

SKATELAND 2014 will be two days of non-stop skateboarding on the 25th and 26th of july in the great park of Slottsskogen, Gothenburg, Sweden.

We’ll have a large Mini Ramp hosted by Vans, where we’ll throw contests, have exhibitions and just go for plain, radical skateboarding for everyone.

We’ll build one of the biggest Mega starting ramps, 5 meters above ground, where we’ll try to break the official Guinness world record in different disciplines.

Hollywood will host the Street Area, with obstacles, contests, exhibitions and free riding for everyone.

The first ever Boardercross slope will be built by Space Production, with obstacles, jumps, and fast riding all the way from the top of the hill, with a distance of nearly 400 meters, down to Linnéplatsen. Jsm Longboards will host theEuropean Championship of Boardercross/Longboarding during the weekend with more than 100 riders going for the gold.

And last but not least, Gothenburg Skate Society will host the European Championship of Slalom Skateboarding with top riders from all across the continent speeding down the Slottsskogen asphalt.

On top of that, we’ll have a large food and drink stand courtesy of well-known restaurant SMAKA, who will provide special Skate food and drinks. Skateboard companies and other manufacturers will set up tents, demo and sell their latest products.

The whole skateboard-arena will also be filled with music; live-bands, DJ’s and Soundsystems.
